Sales Director

Aeromon Team

Our international sales team is growing as we are looking for a Sales Director, Europe. This is a new role to support our growth. Currently our team is spread between Finland, the Netherlands and Romania – preferably your location would be our office in Rotterdam. This is a fulltime, permanent role.

As Sales Director for the Europe region, you will drive the sales pipeline to 3x the target, working with sales managers and partners to set strategic goals and grow the business. You will guide the sales team in developing tailored strategies for key customers, oversee new product commercialization, and collaborate with product management on market-expanding investments.

You’ll lead efforts to increase customer engagement, manage complex sales processes, and ensure timely delivery of products with cross-functional teams. You will also design and execute go-to-market strategies, track market trends, and coordinate demand generation activities to boost product visibility and market share.

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • Grow our overall pipeline together with our sales managers and partners
  • Plan and implement the sales and marketing processes and best practices together with the team
  • Manage the sales operations: sales processes, data analysis, and CRM to support sales goals
  • Identify trends, forecast sales, and implement strategies to improve sales performance by analyzing sales data
  • Understand the market and lead the sales activities accordingly
  • Report on sales and ensure sales targets are reached
  • Support the sales work of others

How to be successful in this role:

  • Have a strong background of multiple years and proven results on international B2B service sales with long sales cycles and multiple different stakeholders
    • Preferably over 10 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, marketing, and project management, with expertise in oil & gas industries, mid-stream and EPCs
  • Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs with established project management skills
  • Experience in developing and managing sales processes
  • Experience with leading result-oriented marketing activities
    • Experienced in planning, developing, and executing targeted sales campaigns or programs for specific markets or products.
  • Capability to plan the ‘bigger picture’ based on the company strategy and making it into practice
    • Proven success in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that positively influence global business outcomes, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in people
    • Previous management experience, including leading teams and driving organizational change with a focus on key performance metrics is seen as an advantage
  • Tech savvy: comfortable with different technical tools
    • Proficient in CRMs, and various other sales and operational tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% and occasionally work flexible working hours
